Mohnblumen
Ein Mohnblumenfeld in der Nähe von Sencelles, auf der Insel Mal-
lorca. Die Mohnblumen, oder auch Klatschmohn genannt, findet
man verbreitet in Getreidefeldern. Der Klatschmohn galt früher als
bedeutsame Heilpflanze und wird heute noch als Hausmittel in
der Volksmedizin eingesetzt. Er findet bei Husten und Reizhusten,
zur Beruhigung von Kleinkindern und als Tee gegen Schmerzen
verschiedener Art Verwendung.
Poppies
A poppy field near Sencelles, on the island of Mallorca. The pop-
pies can be found amongst common wheat fields. The poppy
was once considered an important medicinal plant and is still
used as a home remedy in home medicine. It is used as a cough
medicine or a sedative for small children and in the form of tea to
ease alsorts of pain.
