Lachmöven
Auf der Insel Rügen brüten in jedem Jahr Tausende von Möwen.
Von den verschiedenen Möwenarten ist die Lachmöwe mit roten
Füßen, rotem Schnabel und dunklem Kopf die bekannteste. Sie
folgt den Schiffen und lässt sich füttern. Bei ihrem Flug erkennt
man sie am weißen Vorderrand der Flügel.
Seagulls
Thousands of seagulls breed every year on the island of Ruegen.
There are various species of gull, the best known is the black-
headed gull with red feet, red beak and a dark head. It follows
the ships and can be fed by tourists. The gulls are recognizable
through the white front edge of their wings.
